Brilla camp

Some of the Monarch players are enjoying Brilla soccer camp this week. Even team mascot Kelsey has been giving the other kids a run for their money! Go Monarchs!

This Friday's (July 25) practice is cancelled due to many conflicts.

The biggest one . . . Our coaches (Jerry and Justin) will be getting their "E" coaching licenses. It's a big-time commitment for our kids, with an afternoon session on Friday and all-day sessions on Saturday and Sunday. Thanks!!!!

• Parents ... please bring two copies of your player's birth certificate to an upcoming practice.
• Know somone who may want to sponsor the Monarchs? Pick up a sponsorship form from Chris or Teresa Green.
• For those who made partial fee payments online, the balance for the fall season is due August 13. Pay online through your existing account.
• Practice Schedule: Tuesdays, 6 p.m. at Georgetown Primary and Fridays, 6 p.m. at Parkway Christian Center.

Fourth of July Monarch cookout!

Preseason conditioning

The Monarchs met for a tough workout on Tuesday. Sprints, pull ups, pole climb, head shots, goalie training and one on one drills. Coach Jerry mixes in fun with all the hard work, making their time together exciting and much anticipated.

ODU Camp

Four of the Monarchs had an exciting week at the ODU soccer camp in June.

They spent the week conditioning, technique building and playing in Euro 2008 games.

Ben and Sterling were on Switzerland, Joe on Poland and Keagan (who's team won the tournament) was on Sweden.
