Atlantic Cup 2010 Finalists

Monarchs notched a 3-2 victory over Lakeshore SC of Canada in the tournament semi-finals and fell to MFC of Maryland 2-7 in the championship game of the Atlantic Cup, to finish in 2nd place and earn Finalist honors in the U-12 division.

Monarchs pick up 3 points round-robin play to advance to a semi-final match Sunday morning against Lakshoure SC of Canada at 10:25 a.m. Sunday.

Monarchs Finish First in VSL

With their 5-0 victory over VA Rush Academy White on Nov. 21, the Monarchs finished with a perfect 8-0-0 record in their first Virginia Soccer League season. The 24 points in the standings gave them a 5-point cushion on the second place team. For the season, the Monarchs outscored their league opponents 54-9.
